By accessing or using NearJobs ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including Workers, Employers, and visitors.
NearJobs is a two-sided job marketplace that connects Workers and Employers for short-term or hourly jobs. The Platform provides tools for job posting, discovery, communication, live tracking, secure payments, and profile management. NearJobs acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to any employment agreement between Workers and Employers.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use NearJobs. By registering, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. NearJobs reserves the right to terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
Users must complete profile setup, skill selection, and ID verification to access full platform features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. NearJobs uses verification to promote trust and safety but does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any user's identity documents.
Employers post jobs with defined details including date, time, location, and offered wage. Workers accept jobs voluntarily. All payments are processed through NearJobs' secure escrow system. Funds are held until job completion is confirmed by both parties. Tips, bonuses, and additional fees may apply. NearJobs charges a service fee on each transaction, which will be clearly disclosed before payment.
You agree not to: misrepresent your identity or skills; post fraudulent or misleading job listings; harass, threaten, or harm other users; attempt to circumvent NearJobs' payment system; use the platform for illegal activities; or violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.
After each job, both Workers and Employers may leave ratings and reviews. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. NearJobs reserves the right to remove content that violates community guidelines, including defamatory, abusive, or fraudulent reviews.
NearJobs provides an in-platform dispute mechanism. In case of a job-related dispute, users should first attempt resolution through the app's chat and dispute tools. NearJobs' admin team will review disputes and make final decisions regarding fund releases. Decisions made by NearJobs' team are final and binding within the platform.
All content on the NearJobs platform, including logos, designs, text, and software, is the intellectual property of NearJobs or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
NearJobs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including disputes between Workers and Employers, job quality, payment delays, or loss of data. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
NearJobs reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any behavior deemed harmful to the community, without prior notice.
NearJobs may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
