To ensure trust and safety on the Platform, we require Workers and Employers to submit identity verification documents. These documents are processed by our trusted third-party verification partner and are not stored on NearJobs' servers beyond what is required for compliance. NearJobs collects precise location data to enable live tracking during active jobs, show nearby job listings to Workers, and help Employers monitor job progress. Location tracking is active only during job sessions unless you have granted background location access. You may revoke location permissions through your device settings, which may limit certain Platform features.
Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor. NearJobs does not store full credit card or bank account details. We retain transaction records, earnings history, and withdrawal logs for legal and accounting purposes. Escrow balances, tips, and subscription fees are managed securely within our payment infrastructure.
We share your information with other users only as necessary to facilitate a job (e.g., sharing your profile with a matched Employer or Worker). We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers who assist in operating the Platform, subject to confidentiality agreements. Ratings and reviews you submit may be visible to other users on the Platform. Your public profile, including your name, profile photo, skills, and average rating, may be shown to other users. Be mindful of what information you choose to include in public-facing profile fields.
